[Registration] Why do I need to register?
You can access the majority of our services without having to register.
Some services do require us to personalise our website, so you will need to register to leave comments, save your information, and subscribe to email services.

Always use your member ID that you specified when you created an account and the correct password.
Please remember passwords are case sensitive and make sure you have 'cookies' enabled on your browser, otherwise you will not be able to use the site.
If you have forgotten your password, click on the 'Forgotten password' button, and you will be emailed a new password.

[Registration] What do I need a nickname for?
Some services on ARJK.net require you to have a nickname (also known as a username or login name).
This will appear on your profile page, and any comments you leave on the site. It is how other users will be able to identify you.

If you have forgotten your password, click on 'Forgot password?', enter your ID and the email address you registered with in order to start the process to recover your password. For security reasons, your password cannot be shown on the page.

To remove all your details completely from the site, login to your account.
Click on the 'MY INFORMATION' link. At the bottom of the account details page, click on the 'Delete membership' button to erase all your account information.

Click the 'JOIN' link at the top of the ARJK.net homepage.
Follow the simple prompts and you will have an account within minutes.

[Application] How can I contact the recruiter about my application?
If you want feedback on the status of your application, you should contact the recruiter directly. You can get contact details by clicking on each advertisement.

[Application] Can foreign nationals apply for jobs in South Korea?
Yes, This site aims to provide information to help foreign national (non-Korean) academics link with Korean higher education employers.
If you are interested in becoming an academic or a researcher in South Korea, you can apply for the positions advertised on ARJK.net.

[Application] Can I send my application to you?
Unfortunately, ARJK.net does not accept job applications by email.
The web site is set up for you to carry out searches, and to allow recruiters to advertise their positions. When you complete an application online, you are contacting the recruiter directly in a format that they can accept and process easily.

A person who meets the qualifications stated in the 「Higher Education Act」, and plans to engage in education or research·guidance of the professional field at educational institutions of higher than the college level or any of the equivalents.

A person who plans to engage in research and development of advanced industrial technology or natural science field at research laboratories upon invitation by a Korean public/private institute in ROK [However, a person who falls under the E-1 Professor status is excluded]
